Wednesday, November 14th, 2012
When the chill hits the air, it’s boots on. Embrace Fall’s hottest trend and stock up on black ankle booties now. (I promise you need more than one pair.) Throw on your favorite vintage t-shirt, a mixed media blazer and some trendy arm party bling for a look that’s as fresh as it is practical.
Spice up your Fall Wardrobe with ankle boots, boyfriend bangles and vintage tees.
Over sized watches make bold statements when thrown on with a simple tee or white knit tank. See how I rock this simple but intriguing Fall fashion staple.

High Heel Black Bootie: The Fall/Winter Must-Have
Monday, November 5th, 2012
This high heel black bootie has us craving a little sidewalk/catwalk action. Hayden by Bakers is the leather ankle boot of the season, as seen here in Plus Model Magazine. Styled with a pop of color peacoat, leopard clutch and Victoria Beckham style shades, Hayden keeps it cool and classic.
How would you style this sexy yet timeless black leather bootie?

Fall 2012: Top Trends to Love (and Buy Now!)
Monday, October 22nd, 2012
Fall is undoubtedly the most romantic season, and with hopeless love affairs come elegant fashion trends. From Fall’s top footwear fad – the pointed toe pump – to Autumn’s alpha lip and mani shade (perfect plum) we’re head over heels for the most sought after cuts, colors and materials of 2012.
Oxblood has worked its way into wardrobes of the fashion-obsessed via leather pencil skirts, pants and too-good-to-be-true burgundy booties. I have a little wish list of my own, and Stella by Bakers in Burgundy is taking the number one spot with its delightful combination of not one, but two top trends for Fall.
Halloween Style: Feeling Feisty
Friday, October 12th, 2012
Just because it’s Halloween, doesn’t mean you have to wear a costume. Why not show up to a party in a themed outfit that feels festive? I’ll be decked out in leopard and leather come the end of October, and topping off my non-costume with these amazing sky high (high) heels.
How will you be turning heads this month?

Fashionable Eating: Brunch Made Easy.
Friday, September 28th, 2012
Fashion and entertaining go hand in hand, so next time you’re down to get dressed up just throw yourself a party! Brunch is the kind of intimate gathering that brings friends together. Fill your life with positive energy and your favorite people by hosting a get together once every two months. I promise it will work wonders.
Not one for entertaining? Mason jars are known miracles, and breakfast is no exception. Bake eggs, veggies, meat and cheese in one of these adorable containers and you’ll have the whole party in awe of your entertaining skills.

- Baked Eggs in a Mason Jar: See the full recipe here.
Step two of hosting a fun brunch is a great outfit. I keep it simple all around with the perfect fall combo of LBD, over the knee socks, loafers and a big comfy scarf.
Get the look with these killer loafers (a serious must-have for Fall 2012.)
Just add mimosas and there you have it! This brunch is so easy, you could probably get your favorite girls together by Sunday. I suggest you start texting.

Bakers Shoes: The Career Collection (Pointed Toe Pumps Galore.)
Wednesday, September 26th, 2012
Bakers just launched The Career Collection and I’m completely and totally smitten.
I already own the Stella in black leather and plan to snag black suede next. Also planning on investing in this entire look for my first time wearing the fabulous pointed toe pump.
Okay, so I’m a little stuck on black. How could I mix up this look to include some color?

IFBCON, NYFW and Beyond: My NYC Outfits
Wednesday, September 12th, 2012
Despite the parties, the brunches and the shows, obviously, September in New York is really all about getting dressed up. Even if you embrace a more casual style like I do, you still spend a lot of time pulling it all together. And let’s face it – effortless… not so much. I played up the sheer maxi trend one day and went for classically minimal, almost to the point of utilitarian, the next.
My Diba boots from Bakers are my city girl staple. From St. Louis to Chicago to New York, these trendy kicks have seen a lot of mileage. You can find a similar pair of black leather studded booties here (Freelanced Ankle Boot by Bakers).
Which of my looks is your favorite?!

Shoeternity Lindsay @ IFBCON Part 1: A Few Photos + Some Rad Wedge Sneakers
Tuesday, September 11th, 2012
NYFW may still be in full effect, but IFBCON has sadly come to an end. After two days of learning, mingling and sifting through swag, I’m ready to start blogging my little heart out.
The conference was a sea of the dressed-to-impress (which is totally welcome when you’re used to attending tech cons), but the crowd was refreshingly on top of the educational aspect. Laptops and tablets abound, there wasn’t a soul who didn’t have blogging business on their mind. If you didn’t follow the live coverage during IFBCON, you can peep it now by following the #IFBCON hashtag on Twitter and Instagram.
Panel one was a must see. Sponsored by ShopStyle, fashion industry professionals (including Mary Alice Stephenson! and the very intelligent YM Ousley of Signature9) discussed the future of digital fashion. It was a really smart group of pros, and worth seeing. I took more notes than I’d expected.
One of my favorite mail services was around to talk e-books and newsletters during the breaks. They offered the cutest little MailChimp hats, a photo booth and a DIY tee station. Other brands offered manicures, product and service demos, mini-makeovers, shoe confessions, a charging station and samples.
Bloggers Style Tab and My Scuttle were both caught in their Bakers Revolt Wedge Sneakers! Which look do you like better? I’m loving both – and would definitely rock either! Katherine’s neon double slit dress is to die for.
All in all, it was a pretty successful day. If you’re anything like me, however, you’re way more interested in the outfits. I’ll dish on that in Part 2. Stay tuned!

Festival Inspiration: Loufest 2012
Thursday, August 23rd, 2012
This weekend here in St. Louis we have a little music festival called Loufest. And don’t even think that just because we will be outside in 90 degree weather and walking around in mud that our fashion choices are going to suffer. The two looks shown here serve two purposes: you look the part AND they are comfortable. When it comes to looking the part at a music festival, the one thing you cannot go without is the short, flat, boots. Short boots dress up the most casual outfit or dress down even the most frivolous outfits. So, go get yourself some of those boots and rock out at whatever festival is calling your name.
